Andrea Caceres-Santamaria
Loxahatchee, FL
Andrea received her Bachelor's degree in secondary social science education from Florida Atlantic University is 2008. She currently teaches at Seminole Ridge Community High School in Loxahatchee, FL and her current teaching assignments are macroeconomics, regular and honors level economics. Andrea is also a teacher trainer for the Florida Atlantic University Center for Economic Education. In 2011 she was part of the Council for Economic Education's study tour to Johannesburg, South Africa. In 2009, Andrea was the Florida Council for Economic Education Governors Award winner in the category of entrepreneurship. She was also the recipient of the Florida Atlantic University Outstanding Professional Educator Alumni Award. In 2013, she was a participant of the Training of Writers program for a new publication of lessons, Math in the Real World.
